Ioan Horga is vice president of the Romanian Association for International Relations and European Studies, as well as Director of the Faculty of History, International Relations, Political Science and Communication Sciences at the University of Oradea. As a professor of International Relations and European Studies, his experience is significant in teaching and research. He currently teaches IRES courses in early cycles and safety studies in bachelor’s and master’s programs. He is also coordinator of three Jean Monnet programs, as well as coordinator of other national and international funding. His areas of interest are European regional development, borders evolution and the development of cross-border cooperation, cohesion policies, regional security and the curricular development of European studies.
