This Master’s Seminar aims to analyze the area of International Security from the evolution of its main definitions and the contemporary notion of international security; Provide the necessary instruments for the student to be able to develop studies in the area of security and defense, realizing and being able to evaluate its nuances and most relevant perspectives for the construction of international politics; Discuss some of the main contemporary issues of international security and their implications for security studies and the international agenda; Understand the context and security and defense challenges for Brazil.
